Transformational leadership is about transforming mindsets and moving perceptions, fostering new beliefs about capacity. It is the leadership that says “We can do it!”
Visionary leadership is about creating a clear, taste-able sense of where we are going. It is the leadership that says "I have a dream!"
I believe that we can, should and must build all three into one responsive example of real-time leadership, effectively moving through each of these approaches as situations demand. The greatest form of leadership is one which engages all three levels in real time and the real world.
